1. Authorization for Firearms in Training Areas:

  • Only staff and certified instructors have the authority to permit the use of firearms for training purposes within designated areas.
  • Under no circumstances are weapons or training simulated devices to be used in an irresponsible way.
  • We take training and safety very seriously and do not allow the equipment to be mishandled.

2. Prohibition of Live Ammunition:

  • Under no circumstances is live ammunition allowed in firearms or within the training facility. The training environment is strictly designated for simulation and skill development.

3. Carrying Firearms to Class:

  • Individuals carrying firearms to class must store their weapons securely in their vehicles unless explicit permission is granted by staff or instructors to bring the firearm into the training area.
  • Firearms must be unloaded and properly stored in a secure storage device when brought into the building.

4. Pre- and Post-Training Inspections:

  • All firearms, whether live or designated as training weapons, must undergo inspection by authorized personnel before and after training sessions.
  • This inspection ensures the proper condition and safety of each firearm.

5. Mandatory Safety Training for Members:

  • All academy members must complete a comprehensive safety class and pass a test before being allowed to participate in firearm training.
